Dry needling releases tight bands of muscle that stay knotted after the original injury has settled. It is not acupuncture — the needle targets a specific trigger point identified by examination. We use it as part of a plan, not on its own.

  • Trigger points identified by hands-on examination first
  • Performed only by therapists trained in the technique
  • Combined with movement work so the release actually holds

What we have actually measured

Every patient here is scored 0 to 10 for pain at the first visit and tracked through treatment. These are our own records, not a survey.

We have no completed records for dry needling in malleshwaram yet. Across all conditions:

Median pain at the first visit 7/10, now 1/10.

Your first visit, step by step

  1. Hands-on examination to locate the trigger points and confirm they reproduce your symptoms
  2. Checking the referral pattern matches where you actually feel pain
  3. Screening for contraindications before anything begins

You leave knowing what is wrong, in plain language, whether or not you book anything.

The twitch is the point

When the needle finds the trigger point there is a brief involuntary muscle twitch. That is the response we are after — it is the moment the band releases. It feels strange rather than painful, and knowing it is coming makes the whole thing considerably easier.

Not acupuncture — a different technique with a different target

Acupuncture works from meridian points. Dry needling targets a specific taut band of muscle located by hands-on examination, chosen because pressing it reproduces the pain you actually came in with. It is a tool inside a treatment plan, not a treatment by itself, and we will say so if it is not the right tool for you.

What treatment involves

Needling of the identified points, followed immediately by movement and loading work in the same session. The release is temporary on its own — what makes it hold is using the range while you have it.

If it does not work, you do not pay

Ten sessions, with your pain scored on a 0 to 10 scale at the start and tracked throughout. If your score has not improved, we refund the full amount.
