A spondylosis report is a description, not a cause
Cervical spondylosis on a scan means age-related change, and it is present in most people past forty whether or not their neck hurts. Neck pain with headache usually comes from the upper cervical joints; pain spreading into the arm usually means a nerve root. These need different treatment, and neither is diagnosed from the report alone.
Your shoulder blade is part of your neck
The muscles that control the shoulder blade support the neck from below. Most desk-related neck pain improves faster when we train the scapula than when we treat the neck alone — and if your neck keeps tightening again a few days after every massage, this is usually why.
What happens in your free first assessment
- Segment-by-segment testing of the cervical joints to find the level producing your symptoms
- A neurological screen if you have any arm pain, numbness or weakness
- Scapular control and a review of how you actually sit at work
What treatment involves
Manual therapy to the involved segments, dry needling for trigger points that keep returning, deep neck flexor and scapular training, and workstation changes you can make the same day.
If it doesn't work, you don't pay
Ten sessions, with your pain scored on a 0–10 scale at the start and tracked throughout. If your score hasn't improved, we refund the full amount.
